Cet appareil est du type Box à plaques. Celles-ci sont au format 6,5 x 9. Le corps en métal teinté noir est partiellement recouvert de cuirette. Le levier de relevage du miroir, visible en haut et à gauche de la gravure de présentation, sera remplacé par un bouton à partir de 1930.
